Dr. Lee is a double board-certified specialist in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, with a strong foundation in academic medicine and patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. She received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Lee completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and then completed her fellowship in Rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her clinical interests span a wide range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, myositis, osteoarthritis, gout, fibromyalgia, and connective tissue diseases. She is trained in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound to support the diagnosis and management of rheumatic conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lee has contributed to academic medicine through teaching presentations at both Cedars-Sinai and Loma Linda University. Her research includes work in cardiac sarcoidosis, eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA), and interstitial lung disease. She has presented her research at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) conference and published her research findings on eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
Throughout her medical training, Dr. Lee has demonstrated a commitment to leadership and service. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for exemplifying empathy, compassion, respect, altruism, and integrity in patient care. During medical school, she served as both President and Regional Director of the American Medical Student Association. In residency, she was named Chief Wellness Resident.
Dr. Lee previously served on the faculty in the Division of Rheumatology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She now practices in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate, and individualized care to patients living with rheumatologic conditions.
